A packaging design studio earns its fee only when the pack it draws can actually be tooled, filled and shipped. Pretty renders are easy; a pack that survives an injection mould, a filling line and a bathroom is the hard part. That is why we design and manufacture under one quality system instead of handing drawings to a separate factory.
What the studio actually does
Design is not decoration laid over a standard bottle. It is the discipline of turning a brand brief — the formula, the price, the shelf and the story — into a primary pack whose wall thickness, neck finish and tolerance are all manufacturable. The studio owns the silhouette, the closure system and the decoration layout, and checks every line against our own production capability before you see it.
From mood board to manufacturable drawing
- Translate the brand into silhouette, proportion and surface finish options you can hold, not just scroll past.
- Map each option to a route: existing mould plus custom decoration, a modified mould, or a new build.
- Release engineering drawings with wall thickness, neck finish, tolerances and decoration registration locked.
- Prototype in the real material so colour and feel are judged on the actual surface, not a 3D render.
Decoration is designed, not pasted on
Hot foil, soft-touch coating, silk screen and spray colour each behave differently on glass, aluminium and plastic. The studio specifies the decoration stack so it survives filling, transport and a wet shelf — and so it can be repeated within colour tolerance across a whole production run. A finish that cannot be matched on the line is removed at the drawing stage, not after tooling.

Why one roof matters
When design and manufacture share a quality system, colour matching across materials is done side by side rather than by emailing Pantone numbers between suppliers. A 0.2 mm wall error is caught at the drawing review, not after a steel mould is cut. And the designer who drew the pack is the same person accountable when it reaches your filling line.
