1. Material Preparation

Material Selection and Sorting

Select the outer fabric (shell fabric), lining (inner lining), zipper, and accessories (such as interlining and handles) based on the design requirements. The outer fabric is typically made of a durable material, while the lining is designed to be skin-friendly. Some products require interlining to enhance the bag's structure.

Paper Grid Production

Prepare a paper template (paper grid) based on the design drawing for precise fabric cutting. The paper template should include a seam allowance (usually approximately 1cm).

2. Pre-Cutting

Cut the fabric

Lay the fabric flat according to the paper grid. Use a dedicated die cutter to cut the fabric in batches to ensure uniform shape and size. The outer fabric, lining, and interlining should be cut simultaneously.

Interlining Bonding

Use an iron to press the interlining onto the back of the outer or lining fabric at high temperature to enhance the fabric's rigidity and hold its shape.

III. Production Process

Zipper Installation

The outer fabric and lining face each other, with the zipper sandwiched between them and secured with pins.

Sew the sides of the zipper to ensure smooth movement of the zipper pull. Press the topstitching to secure the zipper.

Sewing the Body

Sewing the outer fabric and lining together on the sides (leaving a backstitch) to create a three-dimensional bag.

Bottom Finishing: Cut out a triangular area and sew together to increase capacity and support.

Cleaning and Shaping: Trim any excess thread and iron to ensure a smooth, even bag. Finally, insert the drawstring or decorative fasteners (if desired).

Quality Inspection

Zipper smoothness, stitching security, and cosmetic integrity are tested to eliminate defective products.
