II. Cutting and Sewing Process

Zipper Installation:

Sandwich the zipper teeth between the outer fabric and the lining. Temporarily secure with glue, then double-stitch and sew. Wrap the ends with small pieces of nylon cloth to secure.

Inner Pocket Division:

Sew small pieces of nylon cloth to the lining to create slip pockets. Sewn mesh layers are used separately to isolate liquids.

Bag Assembly:

Align the side edges and sew them together. Cut 3x3cm triangular notches at the corners to reduce fabric bulk.

Bound Edges:

Wrap the edges with webbing and reinforce them with a zigzag sewing machine stitch. Fold and double-stitch for durability.

III. Process Plan

Anti-Deformation Treatment:

Insert a mesh sheet into the bag bottom, increasing the stitch spacing to 2mm per stitch.

Iron the nylon fabric before sewing (use low temperatures to prevent melting) to keep the fabric flat.

Thread Breakage Prevention Techniques:

Set the sewing machine tension to medium and lubricate the bobbin with silicone oil to reduce friction.

If the thread breaks, cut the fuzzy ends and rethread to avoid tangles that affect the strength of the thread.

Closure System Optimization:

Magnetic buckle or concealed buckle on the inner seam of the bag flap prevents zipper jamming (magnet thickness ≤ 1mm).

IV. Functional and Decorative Design

Expanded Capacity: Accordion pleats on the sides increase capacity by 30%;

Lightweight Handles: 2.5cm nylon webbing with embedded sponge strips, with triangular reinforcement at the seams to prevent tearing;

Personalized Decoration: Laser-cut patterns are fitted to the bag surface; hot-stamping logos should avoid the seams.
