2. Not recommended for storage

Bamboo is resistant to acids and alkalis in the range of pH 4-9, beyond which it may corrode the surface of the bamboo or release harmful substances.

Such as gel masks or water-based essences, long term exposure may cause the bamboo material to absorb water and swell, and mold.
