Material: cardboard or micro corrugated board as the base material, the inner layer can be compounded with PE film to enhance moisture resistance.
Parameters:
Thickness: corrugated cardboard commonly used three-layer or five-layer structure, core paper thickness 0.2-0.5mm.
Printing process: support high-precision offset printing, hot stamping (resolution ≥ 300dpi), adapting gradient, matte and other effects.

VI. Cosmetics paper packaging design process
1. Surface treatment process
The transparent plastic film (glossy film / matte film) is laminated to the paper surface by hot pressing, which enhances the glossiness and abrasion resistance, and has significant moisture-proof performance, and is suitable for high-end gift box packaging.
The glossy film enhances the brightness, while the matte film creates a low-profile texture, and the process can be selected according to the brand's tone.
Conventional UV:Partially or fully coated with UV varnish to form a high-gloss or matte effect, with abrasion resistance of more than 4 levels, commonly used for LOGO or pattern highlighting.
Reverse UV:Through the contrast between light oil and matte oil, the visual contrast between mirror and frosted is realized, enhancing the sense of packaging hierarchy.
Hot stamping/cold stamping technology can present metallic luster (gold/silver/radium), resolution ≥300dpi, suitable for brand logo or border decoration.
The thickness of the hot stamping layer is about 0.02mm, the friction resistance is better than ordinary printing, suitable for high value-added products.
Embossing:The surface of the paper is embossed by a steel mold, forming a concave-convex texture (e.g., leather grain, cloth grain), which is rich in tactility and non-slip.
Silk-screen printing:Using silk-screen printing to realize three-dimensional relief effect, the ink thickness can reach 0.1mm, which is suitable for the tactile reinforcement of logos or patterns.
2. Structural design process
Adopt steel knife die to cut the shaped contour (such as hollow window, curved corners) accurately, the error is ≤0.5mm, suitable for personalized box design.
The depth of the crease line is 1/3-1/2 of the thickness of the cardboard, which ensures the crease is clear and not easy to break when folding.
Three-dimensional embossing (e.g. brand logo, pattern) is formed on the paper surface by mold pressure, with a height of 0.2-1.5mm, enhancing the visual and tactile impact.
